While some of these Quickfires I wouldn't use with my students, the idea of a Quickfire I definitely would. I think that creating the mentality that challenges are okay and may not always be successful, is important to creating successful members of society.
Sometimes my Quickfires were successful, other times they were failures... but it’s all in how you learn from the experience. I can genuinely say that some of my favorite parts of my masters program were our Quickfire activities.

Another 35 minute Quick Fire challenge done! Today we created a "graphic organizer" using various tools. I chose to use the simple Popplet website. Without needing to fill out personal information it was extremely easy to make a Popplet. Within 2 minutes of their brief step by step directions you can know how to use it, too!
