If you ask my students, my name is Ms. Hundt. I started teaching in the fall of 2015 in Grand Rapids Public Schools. I taught 2nd and then 4th grade there for the first three years of my career. I am thankful for the experiences I had while I was there - they made me into the teacher I am today.
I found my teaching home in Haslett, Michigan in 2018 and am excited to be a second grade teacher at Ralya Elementary.
I teach all academic content to my 27 students. Our curriculum consists of Reading Street and Everyday Math. I also try to do daily reading centers and have independent math time for students to work. As a district, we also use a program called Heggerty to build phonemic awareness and Spring Math to practice and build student math skill fluency.
